Our mission is simple: ‘we embrace good sleep’. We want to make sleeping as pleasant and sustainable as possible for as many people as possible with our KOALA HUG bedding. Good for people, good for the environment.

Koala Hug

We started our bedding brand KOALA HUG because we were looking for a more sustainable alternative for our bedding than the usual (organic) cotton, linen or bamboo. The products also needed to be antibacterial because of the dust mite allergy of co-founder Sandie Chan. Thanks to the years of experience of co-founder Robert Chan in the textile sector, we quickly came with 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell, made from sustainable eucalyptus wood. After many test sessions, researches, conversations and visits to producers, we have put together our collection. We are proud of our 100% TENCEL™ KOALA HUG bedding!

positive CHARACTERISTICS

Our bedding is made of 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, which are made from wood, partly from eucalyptus wood. Contrary to what you might think, it is super soft. We love it! It brings many positive characteristics and ensures an optimal night's sleep.

Our products simply have to be great. Delivering good quality is of the utmost importance to us. That is why we select the ingredients for all our products with the utmost care. We also find it important that our production partners work in a responsible manner. We therefore only work with production partners whom we have already built up a good relationship with. Finally, we only offer our bedding and towels through our webshop and therefore have no costs for retail properties. Because we save on this, we can offer our products at fair prices.

Our products are delivered to the edge of the city by car on green gas. From there we deliver parcels by bicycle courier. In this way we limit CO2 emissions to a minimum.
