How does an All Seaons duvet work? Does it include two layers?

Yes, an All Seasons duvet is made of two separate layers with different warmth levels. The first is a lightweight Summer duvet (heat class 4), designed to stay cool and breathable on warm nights. The second is a slightly thicker Spring/Autumn duvet (heat class 2/3), perfect for cooler evenings.

Both layers can be easily tied together using the ribbons along all sides. When combined, they create a cosy winter duvet (heat class 1), giving you extra insulation when you need it most. One duvet, total flexibility, for every season of the year.

Can I use the duvet all year round without changing the layers?

Yes — the KOALA HUG All Seasons duvet is designed for year-round comfort. But while it’s technically possible to use the same setup all year, we recommend switching layers with the seasons for the best sleep experience. Use the Summer duvet (heat class 4) on warm nights, the Spring/Autumn duvet (heat class 2/3) as temperatures cool, and combine both for winter (heat class 1).

Based on customer feedback, the summer duvet is typically used for around 4–5 months per year, the spring/autumn duvet for 6–7 months, with both layers combined during the coldest weeks. Of course, personal comfort preferences always come first.

How do I know which side of the duvet goes where?

The KOALA HUG duvet includes a clear HEAD / FEET label. This makes it easy to see which side belongs at the top and bottom, so the duvet always sits correctly on your bed and it is easy for you to insert into your duvet cover.
